A Bridgeport man who ignited an anthrax scare by mailing white powder to a state prosecutor was sentenced in New Haven to 30 years in prison.
Noel Davila, 34, was convicted of threatening to use a weapon of mass destruction. He mailed baby powder in a folded letter from prison, where he was serving time for aggravated sexual assault and other charges. The letter contained the misspelled words “antrax” and “a.k.a. Bin Ladin.”
