Clash of Realities in Iraq
Re “From Sorrow to 60 in 5.8 Seconds,†May 7: Here is another good reason why President Bush can be proud of his decision to send our troops to Iraq. Thanks to him, children of rich Iraqis now can drag-race their sports cars near Baghdad University and enjoy their newly found freedom, while every day our children, 140,000 of them, are facing death in Iraq, a few of them are killed and a number of them are disabled for life, either physically or psychologically.
Aren’t you proud with what you did, Mr. President? Brag about it.
