‘War’ Isn’t the Answer
Sometimes I wonder if we as a nation can couch any issue except in terms of war. We have had the war on poverty, the war on drugs, the war on terrorism and, most recently, the cultural war, which pits us against ourselves. One Civil War was enough. It’s time that we realized that “war†is not the solution to any of the problems we seek to redress.
