Isidore Cohen, 82, a violinist and chamber music performer in the prominent Beaux Arts Trio, died June 23 in New York City.

From 1969 to 1992, Cohen toured with Beaux Arts and recorded a vast range of music, including all of Haydn’s piano trios and the piano quartets of Mozart and Brahms. After he joined Beaux Arts, which was formed in 1955, the trio’s style was said to have broadened and deepened.

Cohen also taught at a number of universities and schools.
