FBI Finds No Terrorist Link to Woman Held

One of the 16 people sought for questioning in an alleged terrorist plot in Boston had been in federal custody for more than two months and had no terrorist connection, the FBI said.
In an announcement posted on the FBI’s website, officials said Mei Xia Dong, a Chinese woman, had been at a Homeland Security Department immigration detention facility in San Diego since Nov. 11.
Investigators say that Dong paid a human smuggler to enter the United States through Mexico and that she came only for economic reasons.
