2 schools won’t re-create prank
Two Nebraska high schools turned down offers from MTV to film a re-creation of a class prank in which a group of students parked a car outside the door to the principal’s office.
McCook Public High School Principal Jerry Smith told the cable television station the school would not participate in “High School Stories†because the 2003 prank was not part of the district’s curriculum or goals for students’ education. The school board concurred.
MTV officials then asked permission to film the segment at nearby Arapahoe High School, but board members from that school district also declined.
