Team Canada Found the Punch It Needed
Team Canada’s recent selection of Todd Bertuzzi to the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin is shocking at worst and questionable at best.
Bertuzzi’s cowardly punch from behind on Steve Moore was a despicable act of on-ice violence and should not be condoned. To this day, Moore is still suffering from the effects of Todd’s punch and there is no timetable in sight for a possible return. There is a good chance that, at the age of 26, Steve Moore’s hockey career is over.
As a fellow Canadian, Bertuzzi being named to the Canadian national team is disgraceful.
