The Wiggles will reach Japan
The Wiggles are driving their big red car to Japan.
The hugely popular Australian children’s entertainers announced Wednesday that they will recruit members for a Japanese version of their group in 2006.
The Wiggles, made up of Jeff Fatt, Anthony Field, Murray Cook and Greg Page, along with sidekicks such as Dorothy the Dinosaur and the Big Red Car, have taken Australia and much of the world by storm in recent years, generating millions of dollars from sellout live performances, a TV series and merchandise sales.
The Japanese spinoff of the group follows similar Wiggles acts already performing in Latin America and Taiwan.
