UCLA TONIGHT
vs. Wagner, 7:30
Site -- Pauley Pavilion.
Radio -- 690.
Records -- UCLA 8-1, Wagner 6-1.
Update -- This Staten Island (N.Y.) school appears to be a step down for the Bruins after Nevada and Michigan, but the Seahawks can at least boast of a fast start. They have their best record through seven games in a quarter-century. Wagner has won four in succession, three straight on the road, and is coming off a 63-61 victory over Rhode Island on the Rams’ home court. After facing big frontcourts in their last two games, the Bruins should find a better matchup tonight against Wagner, whose tallest player in its starting lineup is 6-7 center Durell Vinson.
Tickets -- (310) 825-2946.
