Metabolife Is Fined $600,000 in Tax Case

A federal judge Friday ordered Metabolife International, which once offered a popular diet supplement, to pay a fine of $600,000 after the company’s conviction on tax charges.
William Robert Bradley, one of the owners, admitted that he helped the company evade $339,221 in taxes.
