Your April 10 article, “Gov. Making a Quiet Retreat,” detailing Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s derailed policy reforms, made one thing very clear. California voters gave him a plain mandate for reform in government. But the politicians, the “well-organized opposition” noted in the article, have turned a deaf ear to the voters. It’s clear where the failure really lies.
