Teen Killed in Machete Attack on Way to School

A teenager on his way to school in the Bronx was stabbed to death during a subway melee in which two of his friends also were attacked, police said.
The dead teen, Marvel Martinez, 17, may have been stabbed because the machete-wielding attacker thought his girlfriend and Martinez had lunch together on Monday, police said.
The attack occurred as the victims waited for a train. The other two youths were listed in stable condition. The four attackers escaped.
