Mom’s Killing Prompts Forum in Riverside

A neighborhood meeting to discuss the recent slaying of a pregnant Riverside woman is scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday at Bryant Elementary School, 4324 3rd St., Riverside.
Councilman Dom Betro and Police Chief Russ Leach will discuss neighborhood safety .
Estela E. Perez was stabbed to death March 31 in her home in the Fairmount Park neighborhood, part of Betro’s ward.
Perez, 29, had two children at the school and was involved in its PTA. Her killer remains at large.
