Lawyer: Swartz Canceled Meetings on Tyco Probe

Tyco International Ltd.’s former finance chief Mark Swartz missed sessions with lawyers conducting an internal investigation of the company, attorney David Boies, who led the probe, told jurors.
Boies, testifying at the fraud and larceny trial of Swartz and former Chief Executive L. Dennis Kozlowski in New York Supreme Court, said Swartz repeatedly canceled appointments during the last week of May 2002.
Swartz’s lawyers contend that he cooperated with the probe.
