Get to know the O.C. better on Drive-and-Dine vacation packages offered by the Costa Mesa Conference & Visitor Bureau.
The deal, which is good through Sept. 30, offers visitors low-cost hotel stays accompanied by $30 in travel reimbursement for gasoline or airfare and $30-per- night dining certificates that can be redeemed at 21 participating restaurants.
Guests must stay in participating hotels for two nights. Included are Ayres Hotels & Suites, (714) 549-0300 (rates starting at $89 per night); Costa Mesa Marriott Suites, (714) 957-1100 (rates starting at $119); Hilton Costa Mesa, (714) 540-7000 (rates starting at $109); Holiday Inn, (714) 557-3000 (rates starting at $99); Residence Inn by Marriott, (714) 241-8800 (studios starting at $119); Westin South Coast Plaza, (714) 540-2500 (rates starting at $139 on weekends); and the Wyndham Hotel, (714) 751-5100 (rates starting at $99 weekdays).
