38 Officers Connected to Ex-Leader Sentenced

Thirty-eight military intelligence officers linked to ousted Prime Minister Gen. Khin Nyunt have received long prison terms on corruption and related charges, members of Myanmar’s legal community said.
The convicted officers, some ranking as high as brigadier general, received sentences ranging from 20 years to more than 100 years, the legal sources said.
