From Times Wire Reports

A teenager has agreed to serve four years in prison for hatching a plan to shoot people at a Texas high school last year. The plan was never carried out.

Jaysen Kettl, 17, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit capital murder for his role in the plot at Vidor High School in southeast Texas. He will also spend 10 years on probation.

Prosecutors said Kettl and another student detailed in a spiral-bound notebook whom they wanted to attack, but word leaked to school administrators.
