Sweet Seattle Stop
Re “A Small, Unique Act of Patriotism, With Cherry or Custard Filling,†Commentary, Sept. 22: I just spent a year in Seattle, and one of my favorite occupations was searching for the best place for coffee and something good [to eat]. The search stopped at Hiroki’s. Then the only question was what to get -- green tea tiramisu, souffle cheese cake. One day, he had a plain-looking cake called gateau Basque, and that was it for me. Don’t miss his place if you should visit Seattle. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met.
