Media mistakes
Tim RUTTEN’S Sept. 18 article, “Rather Went on Faith, Not Facts,†made my blood boil.
I would like to suggest that had the public and the media leveled the same scrutiny of claims of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq that they have at journalist Dan Rather’s investigative reporting of President Bush’s service record, we would not be at war, we would still have long-standing allied support and the world would be a very different, possibly safer, certainly saner, place.
