Update -- Both teams advise against reading anything into the regular season. It would be hard to find an edge in those results anyway. Sacramento won the first two games, Los Angeles the last two. Each team won on the other’s home court, and both were strong at the end of the season. The Sparks were 8-2 in their last 10 games, the Monarchs 7-3. A key tonight will be if the Sacramento guards can neutralize the efforts of the Sparks’ guards. If they do, the game could be close.
