In favor of the feline

To the naive malcontent writer Howard Leff (“Enough With the Cat Stories,” Aug. 26) who equates the ownership of a cat exclusively with women, I wish to inform him that cats long ago surpassed dogs as America’s most popular pet and they instinctively know a person’s character.
Enough with the Leff stories!
