Reno Temperatures Plunge to Record Low

An unseasonable cold snap sent Reno’s temperature plunging to a record low.
The reading of 4 above zero at the Reno airport was 1 degree lower than the old mark, set in 1975. The coldest November reading ever recorded at the airport was 1 degree above zero on the Nov. 17, 1958.
