Apparent Drive-By Shooting Kills Man, 20

A Santa Ana man was killed during an apparent drive-by shooting in front of an apartment complex on East Chestnut Street, police said.
Adan Zermeno, 20, was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana by paramedics who found him Sunday with a gunshot wound to the upper torso, said Sgt. Carlos Rojas. Zermeno died at the hospital.
The shooting, which occurred about 3 p.m., is under investigation by gang investigators, Rojas said.
