Music and Violence

Re “Man Stabbed at Vibe Music Awards Show,” Nov. 16: What a great industry and role models for our youth. The recent stabbings and the assault on stage at this event just mirror the hate embedded in the lyrics of these “artistes.” I had better watch out from now on, when listening to country music, about having my pickup stolen, my girlfriend beaten or my dog killed -- at least they are still just lyrics in that industry.
