The NFL in L.A. Still Just a Dream
In case anyone in the NFL is wondering why Los Angeles has so little interest in getting a team, it’s because we were stuck watching the last-place Raiders playing a mediocre Charger team while the rest of the country was watching the history-making Patriots play the team with the best rookie quarterback since Dan Marino.
USC sells more than 90,000 tickets for every home game, but the NFL does not think the Coliseum is an acceptable site for a professional team. The NFL is a league that does well in small markets like Green Bay where there is nothing else to do. Given that, they should think about moving a team to Sacramento where they would probably sell out every game.
