Neff house is Pasadena’s little dose of Tolkien

Many thanks for the nice article on the Wallace Neff “Shell House” (“A Well-Rounded Genius,” by Tina Daunt, March 18). I ... have often walked by and admired its curious appearance. From the outside, it has a softly welcoming, rather whimsical look, as though a family of hobbits lived there. It’s great to see the photos of what’s inside!
