Tyco Jurors Must Weigh Former CEO’s Intent

Jurors weighing fraud and larceny charges against former Tyco International Ltd. Chief Executive L. Dennis Kozlowski need to find he “acted with larcenous intent” to convict him, the judge in the case said.
New York state Supreme Court Justice Michael Obus told jurors they must acquit Kozlowski of larceny if they conclude he “believed he was authorized” to take $170 million in bonuses and loans that he and a co-defendant are accused of stealing.
