JUST BACK
After my wife and I booked a cabin at El Capitan Canyon in Santa Barbara, I rode my bike north to Refugio Road, up to Broadcast Peak and east to the top of Tequepis Trail. I descended the trail easily to Highway 154, headed north to Santa Ynez and turned off at Refugio Road. The climb was easy because the road is in good shape. The descent to the 101 was fast. I made the 55-mile round trip in just under five hours.
