Arrest Warrant Issued in Shooting of 2 Women
Police issued an arrest warrant for a man suspected of shooting two women in Mission Hills after allegedly trying to solicit them for sex.
Rafael Sanchez, 25, of Panorama City is suspected of shooting two unidentified women early Wednesday in the 15500 block of Rinaldi Street, police said.
The women were sitting in a car about 5 a.m. when Sanchez allegedly opened fire on them after a brief discussion, police said. Both women were hospitalized in serious but stable condition and were expected to survive, police said.
The heavily tattooed Sanchez, who wears thick prescription glasses, is believed to have fled in a bright yellow sport utility vehicle, police said.
