Questionable Reasons for Gasoline Price Hikes
Every year at this time we consumers experience a run-up in the price of gasoline.
We hear such terms or cliches as refinery outages, glitches, social unrest in other oil-producing countries, low crude oil inventory, unseasonably cold weather, higher cost of additives to reformulate gas and now a rebounding economy and the high cost of crude oil.
When do we say enough is enough?

When gasoline starts to back up in the oil companies’ pipes at their refineries, prices will come down.
It is a matter of supply and demand. You demand, they supply -- at their price.
