Police are searching for a man suspected in a string of robberies in the last week, the latest on Thursday evening at a Lake Forest bank. The man has struck at least four times at banks, gas stations and motels, police said.
About 6 p.m. Thursday, the man entered the Wells Fargo Bank in the 26000 block of Towne Center Drive and handed a teller a note demanding money, police said. He was seen fleeing in a blue or black Chevy El Camino with a “significant amount of cash,” police said.
