Update -- The Avengers, trying to rebound from last week’s defeat by San Jose at Staples Center, will be without offensive specialist Chris Jackson, the Arena Football League’s offensive player of the year in 2003. Jackson strained his knee in the game against San Jose and was put on injured reserve late last week. Joe Douglass will start at offensive specialist. Georgia is led by quarterback Leon Murray, who became the starter midway through last season and guided the Force to the second round of the playoffs. Georgia lost its 2004 opener at home against New York, then defeated defending ArenaBowl champion Tampa Bay on the road before losing to the expansion New Orleans team at home last week.
