Ex-NFL Player Arrested on Suspicion of Rape

Former pro football player Stanley Thomas, 36, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of raping a 21-year-old woman he met at a local nightspot.
Thomas, who played for the Chicago Bears and Houston Oilers from 1991 to 1994, was arrested at his home in the Cardiff-by-the-Sea neighborhood of this San Diego suburb.
The victim was allegedly raped while she was unconscious at Thomas’ home June 18, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
