On the radio: Chuck Niles, considered the preeminent DJ on Southern California jazz radio for more than 40 years, will be the subject of a half-hour documentary at 2:30 p.m. today on KCRW-FM (89.9). “The Hippest Cat in Hollywood,†produced by former colleague Ken Borgers, is a tribute to Niles, who died in March at the age of 76. The program will be repeated Monday at 7 p.m.
