Lincoln Center taps married duo

The husband and wife duo of David Finckel and Wu Han are the new artistic directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.
Finckel is the cellist with the Grammy-winning Emerson String Quartet. His pianist wife performs with orchestras, as a soloist and with Finckel. In addition, the couple ran the SummerFest La Jolla series in La Jolla for three seasons and started Music@Menlo in the Silicon Valley last summer.
The couple will present their first programmed season in 2006-07. Their contract is for five years.
