CNN’s Hair making big changes

CNN/U.S.’s new leader, Princell Hair, is making his first big changes since joining the network in the fall. Most are behind-the-scenes moves, such as consolidating bureau management.

What should be more apparent to viewers is an increased emphasis on medical, science and entertainment news, which Hair said in an internal memo will be expanded. In addition, CNN said it hired Joe Johns, previously of NBC News, as its Capitol Hill reporter.
