Detectives Seek Woman Who Vaccinated Illegally
Investigators are looking for a woman who illegally administered vaccine in the St. Raphael’s Church parking lot in November and December, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department said. Detectives are asking for help in identifying her.
Det. Fred Padilla said it wasn’t clear whether she was charging for the vaccinations.
The woman isn’t associated with any mobile vaccine clinic, Padilla said.
If she used routine immunization practices and kept the vaccines refrigerated, there is little apparent health risk, county health officer Dr. Elliot Schulman said.
