Ed Zwaneveld

Ed Zwaneveld, who shared a 1998 Academy Award for his role in creating the DigiSync, which helped simplify film editing, died Jan. 8 in Montreal of a heart attack. He was 64. Zwaneveld also shared a similar technical achievement Emmy in 1994.
