NBA Commissioner David Stern was sharply critical of the inside-out shirt protest by officials Friday night but did not address whether they would be disciplined.

“Last night’s display was woefully inconsistent with the professionalism with which NBA officials normally conduct themselves,†Stern said in a statement. “There is nothing more to say at this time.â€

Officials at all 10 NBA games Friday night wore their shirts inside-out with No. 62 on the back to support suspended referee Michael Henderson. Henderson was taken off three game assignments after making a bad call at the end of Wednesday night’s Laker-Nugget game.

The Milwaukee Bucks signed guard Anthony Goldwire to a 10-day contract as a replacement for injured rookie T.J. Ford. The 6-foot-2 Goldwire appeared in five games for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season, averaging 2.6 points. Minnesota signed him to consecutive 10-day contracts before he was waived Jan. 26. Ford was put on the injured list Wednesday because of a mild bruise of the spinal cord. He is expected to sit out two to three weeks.
