With the execution of convicted killer Kevin Cooper set for Feb. 10, his attorneys on Monday filed appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court, state Supreme Court and a federal district court seeking a delay.
Attorney David Alexander said Monday that he filed a writ to the state Supreme Court requesting a stay of execution to allow further testing of evidence in the 1983 slaying of four people in Chino Hills.
