Man Arrested in Woman’s Beating Death

GARDEN GROVE
A Garden Grove man has been arrested on suspicion of beating his girlfriend to death. Paul Edward Maines, 37, is being held at the Orange County Jail on suspicion of killing Oubonhrath Khylity, 27, of Garden Grove. She was found unconscious about 1 a.m. Monday at a Ferndale Drive condo after Maines called police. She was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she died Wednesday.
