Judge Agrees to New Venue in Assault Case
From Times Wire Reports
A San Francisco judge has agreed to move the trial of the son of the city’s former police chief and two others facing assault charges. Superior Court Judge Kay Tsenin ruled Thursday that Alex Fagan Jr., son of former Police Chief Alex Fagan Sr., David Lee and Matthew Tonsing will not be tried in San Francisco.
The three face assault charges stemming from a November 2002 street brawl, when Fagan Jr., then a rookie officer, and the two other officers were arrested for getting into an off-duty fight with two men over a bag of steak fajitas.
