Libbey to Cut Jobs, Close Southland Plant

Libbey Inc., the biggest U.S. glassware maker, is eliminating 140 jobs, or about 3.7% of its workforce, as it closes a factory in City of Industry.
The plant closing is set to take place next year, Toledo, Ohio-based Libbey said.
