Martha Stewart’s Firm Buys 2 Publications

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc., whose founder was sentenced last month to five months in prison, said it spent $6 million to buy two health publications, Body & Soul magazine and Dr. Andrew Weil’s Self Healing newsletter.
The New York-based company said it paid cash for the publications, which were owned by New Age Publishing Inc. and Thorne Communications Inc., respectively.
