Motorist Shot Fatally in Head Is Identified
From Times Staff Reports
Police on Wednesday identified the Santa Ana man killed in an apparent gang shooting the day before.
Pedro Javier, 22, was found shot in the head at the intersection of Sullivan and Willits streets about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, said Sgt. Carlos Rojas.
“We believe it’s gang-related,” Rojas said. Javier was starting through the intersection when at least seven men approached the car on foot and a shot was fired.
Police have no suspects in the ongoing investigation.
