Missing Woman Is Arrested, Accused of Deserting 8-Year-Old

A Redlands woman was arrested Monday on suspicion of deserting her 8-year-old son at Downtown Disney, police said.
Anaheim police said a man who had just seen a television news broadcast about Robyn Freeman, 38, spotted her and her 11-year-old daughter, Shannon, as they walked along Harbor Boulevard. He called police from his cellphone.
Police had searched for Freeman since her son was found wandering around Downtown Disney on July 15. Sgt. Rick Martinez said Freeman was “oblivious to the fact that anyone was searching for them.”
