Spector’s Bail Extended in Homicide Case
A Superior Court judge extended bail Monday for murder suspect and record producer Phil Spector to Oct. 31, authorities said.
Spector was released on $1-million bail on Feb. 3, the same day he was arrested on suspicion of killing actress Lana Clarkson at his hilltop mansion in Alhambra. Bail was set to expire this week.
Authorities found Clarkson, 40, dead in the foyer of Spector’s home. The two had been seen leaving the House of Blues in West Hollywood together about 2:30 a.m., hours before she was shot. The coroner has ruled the death a homicide, and the district attorney’s office is reviewing the case.
