Coroner Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Man

Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying the body of a man found floating near the Seal Beach jetty Sept. 8.
Described as a 60-year-old Latino, about 5 feet 5 and weighing 121 pounds, the man -- who had a short beard and probable surgical scar on the back of his right elbow -- was wearing black cotton pants and size 9 Skecher-type utility boots. He was also wearing a hospital identification bracelet with the name of Robert Rios on it. Anyone with information should contact the Orange County coroner at (714) 647-7410.
