J. Lo talk show to target women
A new ensemble talk show, produced by Jennifer Lopez, 34, and co-hosted by her sister Lynda, 32, will target women 18 to 35 and air in the fall of 2004. The announcement was made Monday by Universal Domestic Television and J. Lo’s production company, Nuyorican.
“Jennifer and I feel daytime television has really forgotten youth and what it’s like to be a young woman. Even with ‘The View,’ something’s just missing. Print seems to be ahead in terms of subject matter and lifestyle and fashion,†said Julio Caro, Lopez’s producing partner at Los Angeles-based Nuyorican Productions.
Lynda Lopez is a correspondent for E! Entertainment and a radio and television personality in New York. Although J. Lo may appear, regular appearances are not planned, Caro said.
