VeriSign Inc., three years after acquiring Network Solutions for $15.3 billion in the Internet-stock boom, agreed to sell the Web address sales unit of the business to an investment firm to boost revenue.
Mountain View, Calif.-based VeriSign said it would get $60 million and a $40-million note from the buyer, Pivotal Private Equity.
